Head too large

Purchased for quail eggs, lens is too large to adapt to the egg and light beam is not contained. Will need to MacGyver a reduction to adapt.

Does the job

It works for light shelled eggs very well. My olive eggers were too dark to show anything other then the air pocket.

Could be brighter

I purchased this candler as I was on a budget and it seemed well reviewed. It shipped promptly and arrived exactly on time. The candler does work, but it will struggle with any eggshells that are thick or very dark.
