The Featherman Hands-free Poultry Plucker makes the difficult job of plucking chickens easy!

With a capacity of up to 40 pounds of scalded birds (5 chickens, 2 turkeys), you can just drop them in the plucker and let it do its job! In 20 to 30 seconds birds are squeaky clean! No pin feathers remain.

The Featherman has a 22" tub diameter, stands 36" high and has a 17.5" by 24" footprint.
It uses a 1 hp motor and 10:1 speed reducer giving an effective strength of 10 hp.
The weight is 118 lbs.
The tub and motor housing are constructed of tough, UV-stabilized, food-grade plastic.
Standard features include spray kit, feather chute and waterproof switch.

Excellent

Very simple to use, very fast, broilers were 95% clean of feathers in under 20 seconds each, heritage birds under 30 seconds per bird. Clean out chute very effective, the only time consuming bit was cleaning all the feathers stuck to the fingers at the end of the day.

We have only used it once but so far it is quiet, well built, and handled 20 lb turkeys with ease. So far very happy!
