Large size worth it!

The "cons" of this canner are that 1) it is heavy, especially when there is liquid to discard, 2) it is too large to fit inside of my sink for cleaning and so I clean it on the countertop or floor 3) it takes longer to run a cycle that the 7 quart size, 4) finding a space to store it, and 5) the expense. Quite a cost input. The "pro" in my experience is a significant enough benefit to outweigh the above. The size allows you to process at least twice the cans and so a good deal of shelf-stable food can be prepared at once. You do need to fiddle around with large vs. regular mouth jars to accommodate the maximum number of jars at once.
I would recommend this product.
