The evolution of the Pioneer Maid woodstove is the Pioneer Princess! All the same great features of the Maid with even more. The Princess features Thermostatic control, overnight burn, large firebox, welded construction, durable stainless steel, large oven, smooth top surface, porcelain finish, nickel upper trim (on warming closet model only), downdraft efficiency, shaker grates, easy ash removal, front loading door, Warnock-Hersey UL/ULC listed. What makes it different from the Pioneer Maid? A front loading door has been long on the wish list of many customers, thermostat control for even more efficient burning, a more efficient downdraft burn making for easier starting, and beautiful nickel trim (warming closet model only)enhancing the look. The Pioneer Princess comes standard with back shelf.  This model features a large 18 gallon rear mounted water reservoir.
