Made of plastic for durability, these pads are designed with a slotted base to allow air circulation and decrease bacteria growth due to wet nests. Droppings fall through. Easy to wash and disinfect. Each pad 12 x 12 inches. Height of bristles measure 5/8".

even though my chickens are still sleeping in the nesting boxes, the pads are easy to clean. I have some stubborn chickens I guess.
